Welcome to It’s My Town

Welcome to your new community online participatory news site It’s My Town.

At It’s My Town, members of the community can participate in the process of writing and sharing local news for the Chateauguay Valley. Residents can contribute local news items, announcements, stories from the past, photos and videos, post upcoming events, community calendar notices, road reports, classified ads and more!  All classified advertising, announcement, community calendar postings and arts calendar postings are free!!

Preparations for the launch of It’s My Town have been a work in progress for quite some time. We now invite you to explore the site and welcome your submissions!

We are incredibly excited to share our new site with you, which will represent the community not only to its residents, but to anyone from around the globe who may want to visit or even move to the area.

If you have any comments or ideas for the site, we would love to hear from you. It is our wish to bring you a website that you can easily navigate and you will want to visit regularly and take with you on your smartphone, tablet and other mobile devices.

You will also notice that It’s My Town is active on Facebook and Twitter.  We will set out to publish everything you told us was important to you and the community via these social media sites.

We look forward to hearing from you, and on behalf of It’s My Town, I’d like to welcome you to your new online community news site!
