Chateauguay Valley Weather December 9-14th, 2018

Week of December 9-14th by Peter Finlayson Ormstown
Continuing cool is the watchword, wet but not as wet as you’d think. The average temperature last week was -5.6 Celsius, a good drop from the -4.0 Celsius the week before and the -4.0 that is the norm over the last 55 years. There was 6.5 mm of rain, mostly drizzle, and 4 cm of snow which translated into 8.9 mm of total precipitation. Damp but not wet, although the rain did get rid of most of the snow that had fallen previously, which is the schedule for the coming week with a bit of snow, a bit of rain, with the daytime high +/- zero Celsius.
