As predicted, April to date has been cool and wet and will stay that way for the last few days of the month. The average temperature for the month is 5.4 Celsius, up from 4.2 Celsius last week but still well below the normal for April of 6.5 Celsius. As everyone knows, it rained and rained and rained all last week, a total of 31 mm to add to the already large puddles in many fields. Total precipitation for the month to date, including snow, is 122 mm, with an average April being in the 75-80 mm range. May isn’t looking much better with lots of cloudy weather and showers and below seasonal temperatures.
